About the Tennis Professionals Association (TPA)

The TPA is a member-based association devoted to growing the profession of tennis coaching throughout Canada. The TPA was developed by Tennis Canada for Canadian certified Instructors, Coaches, and Club Professionals. Since its inception in 2004, the TPA has grown from 800 members to over 3300.

Mission

To support our members in their contribution to the growth of tennis in Canada.
 

Purpose

To grow the sport and profession of tennis throughout Canada, by providing certification, professional development and services to members. 
 

Use of Funds

All funds raised from the membership will go directly back into coaching development, including:
 
> Operation of the TPA
> Development of coaching-related resources
> Professional development opportunities including conferences and seminars
> Training of coaches through the certification program (club pro stream and coaching stream)
> Improving communication with instructors, coaches and pros in Canada

TPA Access Pass: $105 + HST     

> This pass does not provide the full membership to the Association.
A person with this 'pass' will be able to view all resource materials
 available on the site, including on-line video lessons, articles, interviews, and various other resource materials. The AccessPass does not allow holders to purchase products from our sponsors (Wilson, Head, TennisMagazine, etc.).

> It is designed specifically for coaches outside of Canada, parents, and others, interested in the latest information and trends in coaching both in Canada and internationally.

OTA Instagram Beloved Canadian tennis star Bruno Agostinelli Jr. passed away tragically in 2016 at the age of 28. His younger brother Gianluca lovingly remembers his brother in this tribute story. Gianluca tells us about Bruno’s wonderful accomplishments as a junior, college and Davis Cup star and about how he inspired the next generation as an elite coach at Tennis Canada. But, more than that, he shares what it meant to be Bruno’s brother and how he was inspired by Bruno in tennis and in life… and still is. After stepping away from the sport, Gianluca was drawn back to it as a way of coming to terms with Bruno’s passing and to feel close to him once again.
